Haven't Met · Privacy
Privacy, by design.
This beta privacy notice explains what Haven't Met collects, why it is needed, and how you control it. It remains subject to jurisdiction-specific legal review before member invitations.
What we collect
We collect account email and confirmation status, username, profile details, interests, prompts, approved media metadata, preferences, approximate city context, conversations, Date Quest plans, safety reports, private reflections, and operational analytics needed to run the service. Provider-backed biometric or identity verification is not shipped.
Why we use it
We use information to operate accounts, explain recommendations, enable conversations and Date Quests, protect the community, investigate reports, troubleshoot the service, measure aggregate product behavior, and comply with law. We do not sell personal information or use private reflections as public profile content.
Visibility and retention
Profile fields marked public are shown to eligible members; private preferences, reflections, reports, and moderation notes are restricted by role and policy. We retain information only as long as needed for the service, safety, dispute handling, and legal obligations, with the final schedules documented before beta.
Your choices
From Account Security you can export your data, sign out everywhere, change your email with confirmation, reset your password, or delete your account and owned data. Exports exclude passwords, SMTP credentials, session tokens, and raw biometric evidence. Requests can also be sent to privacy@haventmet.com.
Safety and children
Haven't Met is for adults 18 and older. Email confirmation means the member controls that email address; it does not certify identity, age, character, or safety. Future verification will be specific, time-bound, and explained before use.
